Mr. Kamei worked for more than 40 years at Konica Minolta Inc., a global camera and electronics manufacturer, where he served as a senior executive officer as well as a Chief IP Officer.
During this time, he had extensive practical experience in domestic and international patent, design patent and trademark prosecution, patent licensing negotiations, patent litigation, and R&D agreement, as well as a wealth of experience in intellectual property management, including the establishment and enhancement of intellectual property organizations, the formulation of IP strategies, and the implementation of IP landscapes.
In addition, he worked for a notable big law firm in the United States for several years and he received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University School of Law, where he deepened his knowledge of international law.
He will provide pertinent advice on all kinds of intellectual property issues faced by companies from both a practical and managerial perspective.
