Simon Göhring

Simon Göhring joined MFG as a patent engineer in April 2021, working in particular in mechanical engineering, polymer technology, and automotive.

Simon Göhring studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, specializing in the fields of lightweight engineering, and polymer technology. During a stay abroad in India, he expanded his knowledge of brake systems at the Center for Tribology of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He also gained practical experience as a research assistant at the Institute for Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) over several years.

As part of his diploma thesis, he developed a new manufacturing process for CFRP components for electric air taxies.

Working as a development engineer at a tech startup, Simon Göhring acquired further expertise in the fields of machine development, production planning, and automation for manufacturing aerospace components.
