Dr. Patrick Neunteufel joined MFG in 2022 as a patent engineer, where he is mostly occupied with technical problems in the areas of semiconductor technology, signal processing, camera systems, particle detectors, and computer implemented inventions.

After graduating with a Diplom in Physics focusing on astroparticle physics and theroretical physics from the Karlsruhe Institut für Technologie (KIT), Germany, he obtained a doctoral degree in theroretical astrophysics from the Rheinisch-Westfälische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität Bonn, including extended research stays at the Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. Following a number of years working in astrophysical research, including stays in Bonn, at the University of Leicester, UK, and the Max-Planck Institut für Astrophysik in Garching bei München, Dr. Neunteufel joined the field of intellectual property law.

Dr. Neunteufel commands advanced, versatile knowledge in many areas of physics, in mathematical and computer-aided methods, and advanced skills in a variety of programming languages.
