His PhD research focuses on the analysis of heterogeneous behaviour of individual cells in cell populations on the basis of single-cell fluorescence microscopy. This entails substantial knowledge in various areas such as information technology, ranging from image processing to time series analysis, and the statistic evaluation of the acquired data.<\/p>\n<p>Due to his physics degree, his experience in software development and network technology as well as to his general interest in technical issues, his expertise is helpful in many areas.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-2 nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling fusion-equal-height-columns\" style=\"background-color: #ffffff;background-position: left top;background-repeat: no-repeat;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px;margin-bottom: 0px;margin-top: 0px;border-width: 0px 0px 0px 0px;border-color:#eae9e9;border-style:solid;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_3 1_3 fusion-one-third fusion-column-first\" style=\"width:33.3333333333%;width:calc(33.3333333333% -
